FEBRUARY PROGRAM

Wow, February already! We hope everyone is well and healthy as we enter the second month of 2022.
We remain cautious and this month's events will be either outdoor or virtual.

Valentine's Day is coming up, and French is the language of love, so why not start this program e-mail with a little love poem in French:

J'aime deux choses: Toi et la Rose.
La Rose pour un jour, Toi pour toujours ♥

La Chandeleur: crêpes cooking classSunday February 6th, 3PM-4PMZOOM EVENT - FREE

Also called Crêpe Day, la Chandeleur is a French holiday during which people traditionally eat crêpes and drink cidre to bring good luck in the coming year. There’s a lot of history to this day, but in short, it was a good way to use up the extra wheat ahead of the new harvest. And symbolically, crêpes have the same shape as the sun, so it was a reason to rejoice as the days started to get longer.

Celebrate this tradition with us! You will learn how to make French style pancakes and we will also have some fun answering trivia questions about France!
