Please note: Classes are offered in person at the AF Jacksonville location (see address at the bottom of the page). Classes meet for 10 weeks, 2 hours per week. Cost is $25.00/hour. Total Cost for 10-week session (20 hours) is $500 for new students - please choose "New Student" at Check Out. Our returning AF de Jacksonville Students receive %10 off all classes - please choose "Returning Student" on Check Out.

"Absolute Beginner" French A1 level 1 Saturdays 9:00-11:00am in person at the Alliance Française de Jacksonville. Through a variety of activities that involve reading, writing, speaking and listening, students will discover basic French communication skills. They will be able to present themselves, hold a simple conversation in the present tense. Vocabulary themes include greetings, days of the week and month, family members, professions, classroom objects, personal identity, dining and activities in Nantes, France. Join us for our “Absolute Beginners” French. If you’ve never had French before, this is your class! Students will be introduced to the basics of the French language and phonetics, learning to present themselves, hold a simple conversation in the present tense. Intermediate Beginning French A2 level 2 Wednesdays 6:00-8:00pm in person at the Alliance Française de Jacksonville. The continuing Thursday night B1.B2 in our Totem 3 series, the students continue their progress at the advanced level. Both the future past and conditional past verb tenses are introduced. Students develop more complex and nuanced conversation and communication skills. Vocabulary includes debating and technology.

The continuing Thursday night B1.B2 in our Totem 3 series, the students continue their progress at the advanced level. Both the future past and conditional past verb tenses are introduced. Students develop more complex and nuanced conversation and communication skills. Vocabulary includes debating and technology.
