"Absolute Beginner" French A1 level 1 (8 week course/16 hours) Wednesdays Starting June 7 6:00-8:00pm Please note the class meeting dates are as follows: June 7, 21, 28, July 5, 12, 26, August 2, 9 (No class on June 14 or July 19) Through a variety of activities that involve reading, writing, speaking and listening, students will discover basic French communication skills. They will be able to present themselves, hold a simple conversation in the present tense. Vocabulary themes include greetings, days of the week and month, family members, professions, classroom objects, personal identity, dining and activities in Nantes, France. Culture will be also an integral part of this course to enhance understanding and appreciation of the French speaking world. A1.1 level (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) |
