Yasmina Etique "Bonjour! My name is Yasmina Etique and I am coming from Switzerland! Born in Morocco, I travelled around the world, and lived in several countries before returning to the US. I consider myself a citizen of the world rather than a Swiss citizen. French is one of my mother tongues and I have a real passion for it. I fell in love with French Literature very young and can’t seem to be able to pass by a classical or modern French book without opening it:)
I got my Master degree in International Relations in Geneva, my MBA in the US and I managed projects in Nonprofit for several years. I was also a translator and French teacher in the various countries I lived in. Among others, I taught French to refugees and adolescents in Geneva, school students in France, business customers in Miami, French immersion students in Toronto and the most difficult task to my five children.
I am excited to join the multicultural team of teachers at the Alliance Française and transmit my passion for French. Therefore, I love to customize my classes to the needs of my students. I will add more fun and educational activities for the kids, a touch of oral practice and grammar for the adults, more conversation and exchange for students eager to hone their communication skills, as well as a load of business terms and culture for my corporate students. A bientôt!"
