Jacksonville native and blind musical phenom, Conrad Oberg is back to perform on Wednesday, November 5th (7:00 pm) for a rare solo guitar and piano performance at Mudville Grille Music Room by popular demand!
Proceeds from this concert will be donated to the Jacksonville chapter of Alliance Francaise, a group that promotes French culture and language.Conrad learned to speak French prior to touring in Europe, and has been a member of Alliance Francaise for several years.
Conrad taught himself to play piano at age two. At 10, the blues/rocker recorded his first album at the legendary Sun Studio in Memphis (backed by Jerry Lee Lewis’ band), was given his first guitar, and began performing at blues festivals and clubs throughout the South.
At the age of 15, Conrad was honored to open the 40th Anniversary of Woodstock at the site of the original 1969 festival, performing for an audience of 35,000. Conrad…
